Kristal Ibarra

Kristal Ibarra is an experienced professional in environmental advocacy and educational program coordination, currently serving as a Senior Learning Strategist at Sierra Club since May 2017. In this role, Kristal drives the development and implementation of learning strategies to support just environmental policies and grassroots organizing. Previous positions at Sierra Club include Chapter Support Representative and Volunteer Coordinator. Kristal has also held outreach and consulting roles with organizations such as Republic Services, GrowNYC, and various cultural parades in New York City. With a Bachelor's degree in General Science from the University of Puerto Rico and a Project Management certificate from UC Berkeley, Kristal combines strong educational credentials with extensive hands-on experience in community engagement and environmental education.
