Shabina N. Bahl

Shabina Bahl serves as the Chief Advancement Officer at the Sierra Club since June 2022, where responsibilities include leading all principal and major gift activities. Previously, Shabina held the position of Deputy Chief Advancement Officer, overseeing major gifts and team management. With significant experience in development roles, Shabina was Vice President of Development at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, achieving annual revenue goals of $40 - $45 million. At The Pew Charitable Trusts, Shabina raised $125 million and managed over 40 fundraising and communications professionals. Additionally, Shabina directed a $100 million fundraising campaign at Johns Hopkins Medicine and has held various development positions at Johns Hopkins University and earlier roles in marketing and sales. Shabina holds a Master of Arts from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Chatham University.
