Scott French

Scott French has been working in the tech industry since 1999. Scott began their career as a Webmaster at Bauer Industries, where they were responsible for building and maintaining an e-commerce site of several thousand items, as well as the company's intranet site, various support sites, and a web-based Vehicle Accessory Fit Guide application. In 2003, they became an Apprentce Luthier at First Act Inc., where they worked with Kelly Butler and the team in designing and building guitars and basses for various high-profile musicians. In 2004, they became the Owner of Scott French Musical Instruments, where they built and designed handcrafted guitars and basses, using original designs, ergonomic and lightweight instruments, alternative and eco-friendly materials, and USA-made hardware and electronics. From 2005 to 2008, they worked as a Contract Web Developer for the PeopleAvenue.com Project at Unison IT. Finally, from 2008 to present, they have been a Development Team Lead and Developer at Sierra Data Systems.

Scott French obtained a Luthier Certificate from the Roberto-Venn School of Luthiery in 2002, where they studied Handmade Guitar Construction. In April 2015, they were certified as a ScrumMaster by the Scrum Alliance.
