Paul Vergnani

Paul Vergnani has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Paul most recently served as the VP of Engineering & Operations at Sierra Energy since July 2021. Prior to that, they held various roles at Sierra Energy, including Engineering Manager and Chemical Engineer from 2015 to 2022. Before joining Sierra Energy, Paul worked at CHA Corporation as a Laboratory Director from August 2007 to September 2015, managing research projects related to pollution control and defense technologies. Paul also worked as a Research Engineer at CHA Corporation from January 2003 to August 2007, where they designed and demonstrated a prototype mobile system for regenerating contaminated activated carbon. Earlier in their career, Paul worked as a Summer Student at Energy Laboratories from June 1999 to August 2001, overseeing the implementation of a laboratory information management system and developing standard operating procedures. Paul also served as an Engineering Intern at Triton Coal Company, Buckskin Mine from January 1999 to August 2000, performing environmental sampling, updating field sampling procedures, and developing a reclamation plan.

Paul Vergnani attended the University of Wyoming from 1997 to 2002, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering.
