Mark Sokolowski has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Mark began their career as an Associate Support at Frank Fuhrer Wholesale in 2008 and worked there until 2012. From 2012 to 2013, they served as an IT Internal Support Tech and Building Management at CBCInnovis. Mark then joined PPG Industries as an Information Security Analyst from 2013 to 2015. In 2015, they joined Sierra Experts as a Server Operations Engineer, where they handled Tier 2 and Tier 3 support and engineering requests. Mark worked at Sierra Experts until 2017 when they joined Michael Baker International as an IT Support Specialist. In 2017, they also worked at PWCampbell as a part of their IT team. In 2019, Mark returned to Sierra Experts as a Sales and Service Delivery Executive and later became the Sales Director. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President at Sierra Experts since September 2021. Additionally, Mark has entrepreneurial experience as the Operating Partner of their own landscaping business, Soko's LLC, from 2004 until 2020. Mark has also worked as a Valet Attendant at Pittsburgh Valet from 2007 to 2019.

Mark Sokolowski attended Baldwin High School from 2002 to 2006, where they pursued General Studies with a focus on Business/Commerce. After graduating from high school, they enrolled in the Community College of Allegheny County from 2006 to 2008. During this time, they obtained an Associate's degree in Accounting and Business/Management. Continuing their education, Mark attended the University of Pittsburgh from 2009 to 2011. Here, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics with a specialization in Business Management. In 2018 and 2019, they participated in project management training through the Brainsensei Project Management Training program.
