Amaya Noguera-Mujica is a dedicated Program Officer at Sierra Health Foundation since November 2020, with extensive experience in youth engagement and racial equity initiatives. In addition to current responsibilities, Amaya has played a pivotal role as Lead for Afro-Latinx Programming within the Latinx Racial Equity Program since October 2015. Previous positions include Account Manager at American Reading Company, Youth Organizer at Children's Defense Fund, Recruitment and Engagement Specialist at Year Up, and Coordinator at Sacramento Area Youth Speaks. Amaya is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Public Health at the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus, after earning a degree in Theater Education from The New School.
