Ama Carney

Ama Carney is a Thermal Analyst at Sierra Lobo, Inc. since August 2020, with a strong background in aerospace and aeronautical engineering. Previously, Ama completed a Master of Science at Case Western Reserve University while working as a Graduate Student Researcher, focusing on flame spread in microgravity and developing over 500 lines of code for flame data extraction. Prior roles include a Research Assistant conducting microgravity experiments at NASA Glenn, an AFRL Scholar performing Computational Fluid Dynamics analysis at Kirtland Airforce Base, and positions that involved database management and engineering support at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History and Pratt & Whitney. Ama holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Case Western Reserve University and graduated from Portsmouth High School in New Hampshire.
