Liberty Foreman is an accomplished leader in the field of medical diagnostics and research, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Sierra Medical since January 2021. Foreman has been an SSI fellow with the Software Sustainability Institute since 2014, focusing on promoting sustainable research practices in clinical settings. Previously, Liberty co-founded and was the CEO of DynamX Medical, advocating for innovative point-of-care cancer diagnostics. Foreman also contributed as a post-graduate teaching assistant and PhD candidate at UCL, where a significant research project involved developing an algorithm for real-time cancer diagnostics using infrared spectroscopy. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Statistical/Analytical Approaches to Cancer Diagnostics from UCL and a BSc in Molecular Genetics from the University of Sussex.
