Lindsey Jin is a Mechanical Engineer at Sierra Space, contributing since May 2022. Previously, Lindsey served as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Sierra Nevada Corporation, where responsibilities included utilizing SolidWorks for product development and conducting environmental and electrical testing. Lindsey's research experience as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at Colorado School of Mines involved studying dendrite growth with a temperature-dependent atomistic-informed phase-field model. An internship at DePuy Synthes Companies resulted in a capacity analysis project that improved production flow by 5%. Early roles include supervision at the Colorado School of Mines Student Recreation Center and coaching youth sports. Lindsey holds a Master of Science and Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Colorado School of Mines.
