Maddie Shipshock is an experienced manufacturing engineer currently serving as Manufacturing Engineer II at Sierra Space since January 2023, focusing on CNC tube bending, tube end forming, and orbital welding while supporting the development of upper stage rocket engines and propulsion systems. Prior experience includes roles at Rivian, where Maddie contributed as an Associate Process Engineer and Assembly Engineering Intern, creating process flow maps, generating reports, and collaborating on UI design to enhance vehicle repair efficiency. Additional experience encompasses an undergraduate research assistantship at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where Maddie assisted in research related to liquid film dryout, and previous internships focused on operations launch and new product development manufacturing engineering. Maddie holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Manufacturing Engineering from UW-Madison, and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Manufacturing Systems Engineering at the same institution.
