Michael Martinez is a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Sierra Space, leading the mechanical design team for the Temperature and Humidity Control Assembly and Air Ventilation System for the LIFE Space Station habitat since April 2022. Additionally, Michael serves as an Advanced and Instrument Ground Instructor at Ad Astra Aero. Prior experience includes work as a Senior Specialist Engineer at The Boeing Company, focusing on community noise analysis and developing acoustic design software. Michael holds a Master’s Degree in Engineering Acoustics from Penn State University and dual Bachelor's Degrees in Physics and Astronomy from the University of Washington.
