Rachel Salrin is a Human Factors Engineer II at Sierra Space, specializing in the Orbital Reef Space Station since June 2021. Previously, Rachel held the position of Space Systems Engineer, focusing on human integration for the same project. Prior experience includes working as an Advanced Space Systems Development Engineering Aide at Sierra Nevada Corporation and leading the Thermal Team at the University of Minnesota's Small Satellite Research Laboratory. Rachel also interned at NASA Ames Research Center, refining rotor test rig designs, and gained initial experience as an Engineering Intern at 3D Printing Ally. Rachel holds a Master's degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics from Purdue University and a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Minnesota.
