Travis Nelson has held various positions in the telecommunications industry since 2010. In 2010, they started as an Inbound Sales Executive at Comcast, where they consistently met or exceeded leadership-established monthly goals and was rewarded with VIP recognition for highest revenue (46% over quota) of 300 agents for 2012 Q2. In 2012, they were promoted to Manager Business Services at Comcast Business, where they were the #1 sales manager over quota (122%) of 15 managers in Chicago region (2017) and the # 1 sales manager in new product deployment in Chicago region (2014 & 2016). In 2018, they became a Territory Sales Manager at Frontier Communications, managing a budget of $800K in CPE sales and $1.1M annual MRC revenue. In 2019, they were hired as Director, Regional Sales at Everstream Solutions, where they grew sales from zero to $125K+ per month and identified prospects that needed high-availability connectivity, building a base from zero prospects to 1500+ potential customers. In 2021, they became an Account Director II at Lumen Technologies, facilitating organizational growth and new business by driving business development activities for high-profile named accounts and specific market segments. Currently, they are an SVP ROE and MDU Access at SiFi Networks, an international Fiber to the Home (FTTH) network developer.

Travis Nelson attended Newark High School from 1987 to 1992, where they completed a College Prep program. Travis then attended Illinois Valley Community College from 1992 to 2022, receiving an Associate of Arts - AA degree in Business Management. Travis is currently enrolled at Western Illinois University, where they are pursuing a Bachelor of Arts - BA in Communications with a Minor in Management, expected to be completed in 2024.
