Alexey Bataev

Alexey Bataev is a Principal Compiler Engineer at SiFive, with a career that includes significant roles at Intel Corporation as a Compiler Engineer and Staff Software Engineer, and at IBM as a Software Developer focused on compiler development for Summit/Sierra supercomputers. Alexey has also served as an Associate Professor at both Moscow Aviation Institute and National Research Nuclear University MEPhI, specializing in Operating Systems and Programming Languages. Previous experience includes leading development of testing support tools at DC BARS and contributions to C/C++ compiler development with the OpenMP code ownership in the Clang compiler. Alexey holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from National Research Nuclear University MEPhI.
