Jim Hettema

Jim Hettema is a seasoned sales executive with extensive experience in the semiconductor industry, currently serving as Vice President of Strategic Sales at SiFive since November 2019. Prior to this role, Jim held key positions including Vice President of Sales at Renesas Electronics from 2010 to 2019, where responsibilities included directing a $300M annual revenue generation and managing sales resources for strategic customers across the Americas. Jim also served as Vice President of Sales at NEC Electronics America from 2003 to 2010, leading sales and business operations, and was Worldwide Vice President of Sales at Lightspeed Semiconductor from 2001 to 2003, overseeing global sales strategy. Earlier, Jim held an executive sales management position at IBM from 1993 to 2000, where Jim was responsible for a $1.2B OEM revenue segment. Jim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Ceramic Science and Engineering from Penn State University.
