Michael Klinglesmith

Michael Klinglesmith is a distinguished architect at SiFive, where employment began in March 2021, specializing in SoC architecture. Prior to this role, Michael served as a Senior Principal Engineer at Intel for nearly twenty years, contributing significantly as a chipset architect. Michael's diverse experience includes a partnership at Highball Distillery, focusing on distilling, operations, and brand development, along with leadership roles as CTO and Director of Engineering at Pacific Microinstruments, and a brief contracting position at Sequent. Early career experience includes an engineering role at Cadence Design Systems. Michael holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from UC San Diego, an MBA in Entrepreneurship from Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business, and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Union College.
