Katie Kolchin

Katie Kolchin, CFA, serves as the Managing Director and Head of Research at SIFMA since 2017, overseeing industry research in capital markets, managing a research group, and developing report content while establishing a new research brand. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Equity Research Analyst at Rosenblatt Securities, leading equity research on global exchanges, and at Moody's Investors Service, where Katie focused on fixed income investment research. Additionally, a tenure at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York involved the development of a sell-side research platform, and prior positions at UBS and as an Independent Consultant included extensive work in equity research and strategic planning. Educational credentials consist of an M.B.A. in Finance from NYU Stern School of Business and dual degrees in Economics and Environmental Science from Lehigh University.
