Fernando Losada

Fernando Losada is a seasoned economist with extensive experience in emerging markets research and Latin American economics. Currently serving as Managing Director and Head of Emerging Markets Research at Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. since 2019, Losada previously held notable positions such as Senior Vice President and Chief LatAm Economist at AllianceBernstein, and Director of Economic Research and Strategy at both Deutsche Bank Securities and ABN AMRO Bank N.V. Losada began a career in economic research with roles at ING Barings and Weston Group, and contributed to the World Bank as an Economist in the Office of the Vice President for Latin America and the Caribbean. Fernando Losada holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Economics from UCLA.
