Thomas M. Wagner

Thomas M. Wagner has a diverse work experience in various organizations and roles. Thomas M. currently serves as a Managing Director at SIFMA since 2016. In 2022, they joined Cyber Risk Institute (CRI) as a Member of the Board of Directors. Prior to that, they were a part of BC Management, Inc. where they served on the Advisory Board starting from 2009. Thomas also held notable positions such as Vice Chair at Financial Services Sector Coordinating Council (FSSCC) from 2017 to 2019, and as a BCM Internal Audit at Citi from 2014 to 2016. Thomas M. also served as the BCM Head at Direct Edge, a BATS Global Markets Company from 2011 to 2014. Additionally, Thomas was recognized by the Business Continuity Management Institute and DRI International as an award winner and nominee respectively in 2013. Thomas M. was also a member of the CobiT Development Team at ISACA ITGI from 2008 to 2012, contributing to the development of CobiT 4.1 and 5.0, IT Risk, and IT Governance. Thomas M. Wagner also worked at HSBC as the Americas BCM Head in 2010 and 2011.

Thomas M. Wagner has an MS degree in Computer Science from New York University, which they obtained from 1981 to 1986. Prior to that, they completed their BS degree in Computer Science / Mathematics at Brooklyn College from 1978 to 1981. Thomas M. also holds a Regents Diploma from Bishop Ford High School. In terms of certifications, they obtained the DRII certification from DRI International in 2014, the MBCI certification from the Business Continuity Institute (BCI) in 2013, the ITIL V3 certification in 2012, and the CobiT 4.1 certification from ISACA in 2005.
