Alastair Melville

Alastair Melville is an experienced Software Engineer currently working at Sports Interactive since November 2019. Prior to this role, Alastair worked at Dovetail Games where significant contributions included memory profiling and optimization, resulting in a 325MB reduction across various platforms, and developing advanced fish AI mechanics. Alastair also has experience as an Embedded QA Tester and as a Teacher at Kingston University, where lecture materials and assessments were created for over 40 students. Additionally, Alastair held the position of Finance Director at Local Discounts and completed a Commercial Finance Internship at Travelport, involving financial analysis and reporting. Alastair's educational background includes an MA in Game Development from Kingston University and a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance from Edge Hill University, along with participation in the Tai Lopez Accelerator Program.
