Rachel Mae-Diaz Franco, M.S., RAC, is a seasoned regulatory affairs specialist with extensive experience in the medical and pharmaceutical sectors. Currently serving as Principal Regulatory Affairs Specialist at Sight Sciences, Inc. since November 2020, Rachel has developed a robust regulatory strategy and maintained technical documentation across various organizations including Iridex and Newa Technology Inc. Rachel's background encompasses quality and validation, research, and regulatory documentation, with a proven track record of successful submissions to international regulatory bodies. Educated with a Master’s Degree in Medical Product Development Management from San Jose State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley, Rachel continues to enhance expertise through participation in the UCSF-Stanford Center of Excellence in Regulatory Science and Innovation.
