Paul Copping has over 30 years of experience in the technology and telecommunications industries. Paul began their career in 1985 as a Strategic Planning Manager at BT. After three years, they moved to Beddows & Co as a Strategy Consultant. In 1990, they joined Toshiba Corporation as a European Market Analyst. After a year, they transitioned to Nortel Networks Inc as VP of Corporate Development, where they worked for five years. In 2007, they became Corporate Development Director at TRL, where they opened up new markets and established new offices in the UAE and Qatar. In 2014, they became Chief Innovation Officer at Digital Greenwich & DG Cities Ltd, a contractor through Maxathon Ltd. In 2016, they were appointed Director of the City Protocol Society. In 2018, they became VP of Corporate Development at Sightline Innovation Inc. Finally, in 2019, they were appointed Chief Technology Officer at Fawley Waterside Limited.
Paul Copping began their education in 1967 at Birkenhead School. Paul then attended Cambridge University from 1975 to 1978, where they earned a Master of Arts degree in Spanish and French. In 1986, they completed an MBA in Marketing at The City University Business School in London.
