Veronica Yuziuk is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in engineering, research, and marketing. As a Laser Engineer at Sightpath Medical since June 2022, Veronica operates and maintains mobile femto-second lasers for cataract removal. Prior experience includes serving as System Engineering Manager at Rymedi, where responsibilities encompassed technology development, implementation, support, and design activities, along with a role as Implementation Engineer focused on advancing precision health through digital workflows. Veronica's research experience spans roles as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Duke University Health System's Sommer and Mooney Labs, concentrating on viral vectors, optogenetics, neurobiology, and behavior studies. Additional internships include a Research and Development position at Grifols. Veronica also contributed to marketing efforts as VP Marketing at Small Town Records and held a role as a Research Assistant at The Fuqua School of Business. Veronica holds a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering, along with minors in Neuroscience and Psychology from Duke University.
