Chris Hodge

Chris Hodge has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Chris started their career as an Administrative Trainee at the UK Ministry of Defence in 1996 and later worked as a Policy Adviser at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, providing strategic policy advice on the EU's Security and Defence structures and the Middle East Peace Process. In 2004, they moved to the UK Representation to EU Brussels where they served as the Head of Civilian Crisis Management, negotiating and implementing EU military and policing missions in various countries and shaping the institutional framework for EU Crisis Management. From 2008 to 2012, Chris worked as the Deputy Head of Mission at the British Embassy Zagreb, playing a key role in delivering UK policy objectives on Croatia's EU and NATO enlargement. Chris then joined the Foreign and Commonwealth Office again as the Head of Financial Strategy and Analysis, where they led a cross-departmental team, developed the FCO's policy and financial proposals, and negotiated increased levels of income from partner organizations. In 2015, Chris became the Treasurer/Finance Director at Kangaroos before moving to Bridgebrook House Ltd as a Director in 2014. Chris is currently working as the Head of NTD Finance and Risk at Sightsavers.

Chris Hodge's education history includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Imperial College London, which they obtained from 1992 to 1996. Prior to that, from 1986 to 1991, they attended Eastbourne College, where they studied Maths, Physics, and Chemistry at the secondary school level.
