Dan Malowany

Dan Malowany serves as the VP of R&D at SightX AI since October 2020, overseeing the R&D department and driving innovation within Data, Research, Software development, and DevOps teams. Prior to this role, Dan was the Head of Deep Learning Research at Allegro AI, where the design of a machine learning platform and the development of real-time video analytics were key focuses. Dan also has experience as an Analyst & Mentor at BaseCamp Innovation Center, where technology assessment and startup mentoring were provided, and as the Founder and VP of Business Development at Wisdom Israel, concentrating on the Latin American and USA markets. Additional roles include Product Advisor at Sparkliq and leadership positions at IMOD, managing substantial R&D programs. Dan holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, as well as an MS and BS in the same field from the same institution.
