Jorge Rico

Jorge Rico has a diverse range of work experience, starting with their role as NLP and NLU director at Sigma AI since July 2011. Prior to that, they worked as a visiting scholar at UNIVERSIDAD NACIONAL DE EDUCACIÓN A DISTANCIA from October 2009 to February 2016 and at Universidad Internacional Menéndez Pelayo (UIMP) from October 2009 to November 2015. Before becoming a visiting scholar, Jorge was a Phonetics Lab Assistant at CSIC from May 2008 to June 2011. Their first work experience was as a copy-editor at Real Academia Española (RAE) from January 2007 to June 2008.

Jorge Rico obtained a Licenciatura degree in Periodismo (Journalism) from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid from 1995 to 2000. Later, they pursued another Licenciatura degree, this time in Lingüística (Linguistics), from the same university from 2003 to 2006.
