Muzeyyen Baturay

Muzeyyen Baturay has a diverse work experience spanning from 2008 to 2018. Muzeyyen started their career as an English Teacher at Language Schools in Istanbul in September 2008 and worked there until June 2014. During this time, they also worked as an English Teacher at Minik Kelebekler - Kindergarden from September 2013 to July 2014.

In 2011, Muzeyyen worked as an Interpreter & Translator at Istanbul Buyuksehir Belediyesi from April 2011 to June 2012. Simultaneously, they worked as a Translator for Kaknus Yayinlar / Sistem Yayincilik / Versus Yayincilik from September 2011 to September 2014. Here, they translated books such as "Maximize Your Potential via Through the Power of Your Subconscious Mind to Develop Self Confidence and Self Esteem" by Joseph Murphy and "The Skilled Helper Exercises in Helping Skills" by Gerard Egan.

From 2014 to 2015, Muzeyyen worked as an Instructor at Istanbul Aydin University. Following this, they took on various roles as a Freelance Translator/Interpreter for multiple companies from April 2009 to February 2017.

In 2015, Muzeyyen joined Turkish Airlines as a Specialist in the Interline Department from September 2015 to March 2016. Muzeyyen then worked as a Regional Corporate Account Manager from March 2016 to February 2017.

Muzeyyen's teaching experience continued in 2017, where they worked as an English Second Language Teacher at St. Michaels School from May 2017 to June 2017, and as an English Teacher at Colegio Mater Salvatoris from June 2017 to July 2017.

Their most recent role was as a Transcriber at Sigma Technologies Global from July 2018 to September 2018. Muzeyyen then transitioned to the role of Project Manager at the same company and has been in that position since September 2018.

Muzeyyen Baturay attended Marmara University from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mütrecim Tercümanlık. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Mütercim Tercümanlık at Boğaziçi University from 2012 to 2019. In 2017, they completed a TEFL Course at TtMadrid, specializing in Teaching English as a Foreign Language. Additionally, they acquired several certifications, including Business Travel Management from ACTE in June 2016, Basic Passenger Fares from Turkish Airlines in October 2015, a Certificate of Participation in the "2nd International ELT Conference on Teaching English in Higher Education" organized by Istanbul Aydin University in April 2015, and a Certificate of Appreciation for attending the seminar "Translation and Working Conditions for Translators," also organized by Istanbul Aydin University in February 2015.
