Bruce Lehr

Director Research & Development at Sigma-Aldrich

Bruce Lehr began their work experience as a New Business Development professional at Cellmark Diagnostics in 1987. Bruce then worked as a Product Manager at Pharmacia Diagnostics from 1989 to 1991. Following this, they served as the Product Manager Cell Culture at Sigma Aldrich from 1991 to 1995. From 1995 to 2003, they took on the role of Marketing Manager Cell Culture at Sigma-Aldrich Corporation. Bruce then became the Tactical Marketing Manager at Sigma-Aldich Corporation from 2003 to 2006. After that, they joined SAFC Biosciences as the Director of Marketing from 2006 to 2010. Bruce continued their career at SAFC as the Director of Research and Development from 2010 to 2015. Later, they worked as the Director of Research & Development at MilliporeSigma starting in 2015. Bruce retired in April 2018 and became a Gentleman Investor at Alpha Brewing Company 2.0.

Bruce Lehr received their Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Chemistry from Allegheny College in 1979. Bruce then pursued a Master of Science degree in Microbiology & Immunology from State University of New York Upstate Medical University, completing it in 1985. From 1985 to 1987, they attended UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School to earn an MBA with a concentration in Marketing.
