Elisabeth Wintrich-Geiter

Elisabeth Wintrich-Geiter has extensive experience in procurement and sourcing, currently serving as the EMEA Business Process Lead for Procurement at Sigma Aldrich since 2002, where responsibilities include redesigning process landscapes, leading complex changes, and managing resource deployment for optimization projects. Prior roles at Sigma Aldrich include Head of European Procurement and European Sourcing Manager, focusing on category management, supplier management, and strategic sourcing initiatives. Earlier in her career, Elisabeth held research and development positions in notable organizations, including Ivoclar Vivadent AG and INM-Leibniz Institute for New Materials, primarily concentrating on nanocomposites. Elisabeth holds a PhD in Material Science and an MCs in Chemistry from the University of Saarland in Germany.
