Haroon Tauqeer

Haroon Tauqeer, CISSP, has worked in a variety of roles in the security and IT industry since 2012. Haroon'scareer began as an IT Infrastructure Solutions Analyst at Cognizant Technology Solutions in 2012. Haroon then moved to Coalfire in 2013, where they worked as an Information Security Consultant and Associate Information Security Consultant. In 2016, Haroon joined NCC Group as a Security Consultant, and was promoted to Senior Security Consultant in the same year. In 2020, they were Manager, Advisory - Cyber at KPMG, and then Senior Security Consultant at Emagine IT, Inc. in 2021. Currently, Haroon is a Security GRC Manager at Sigma Computing.

Haroon Tauqeer, CISSP has an extensive educational background. Haroon obtained their Masters of Business, Entrepreneurship, and Technology (MBET) from the University of Waterloo in 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Information Security from George Mason University in 2012. Haroon also holds an Associate of Science in Information Technology from Northern Virginia Community College, which they obtained in 2010. In addition to their formal education, Haroon has obtained several certifications, including AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2022, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² in 2022, and ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Auditor from PECB in 2017.
