Muath Alkhunean

Muath Alkhunean has extensive experience in cybersecurity, currently serving as Cyber Security GRC Assistant Manager at Diriyah Company since January 2023. Previously, Muath worked as a Cyber Security Specialist at the Education & Training Evaluation Commission, where responsibilities included conducting vulnerability assessments, utilizing Rapid7 Nexpose, and developing cybersecurity policies in alignment with National Cybersecurity Authority standards. In an earlier role as a Cyber Security Analyst at Kafalah, foundational cybersecurity policies and training programs were established. A background in system administration was gained at the Ministry of National Guard Health Affairs, and initial technical experience included a summer internship at King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology focused on encryption development. Muath holds a Master of Science in Information Assurance and Cyber Security from Florida Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from King Saud University.
