Andy Simpson

Andrew Simpson is the CEO of SIGMA Financial AI, a position held since January 2022. Prior to this role, Andrew served as an Advisor to the Group CEO at BME (Bolsas y Mercados Españoles) from April 2018 to February 2022 and as the Head of Post Trade at Euronext from August 2014 to March 2018. Andrew's experience includes key leadership positions such as Chief Operating Officer at Rate Validation Services and Head of Business Development at EuroCCP. Andrew has also held significant roles at SWX Europe Limited as Interim COO and at Barclays Capital as Change Manager. Early career contributions were made at the Financial Services Authority in IT Strategy and Implementation, and various operational leadership roles at financial institutions from 1995 to 2004. Andrew holds a BEng (Hons) in Structural Engineering with Architecture from The University of Manchester.
