Group Manager Strategic Sourcing: Indirect Spend at Sigma Healthcare

Mark Welsh has a vast work experience spanning over several companies. Mark started their career in 1987 at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Senior Manager, where they provided financial and IT audit services, including two years of international experience in Toronto, Canada. In 1999, they joined Colonial Ltd as an IT Manager before moving on to Electronic Data Systems in 2000, where they served as a Client Delivery Executive. In 2007, Welsh joined National Australia Bank as a Senior Manager, Offshoring Services, focusing on strategic IT outsourcing and other technology engagements. Mark later became the Senior Commercial Manager, overseeing strategic IT outsourcing and corporate divestment activities. Welsh then joined MLC Life Insurance in 2016 as the Head of Procurement, a role they held until 2018. Mark subsequently worked at ProcureCom Consulting as a Director before joining their current company, Sigma Healthcare, in 2019 as the Group Manager Strategic Sourcing, specifically managing indirect spend.

Mark Welsh attended RMIT University from 1985 to 1988, where they pursued a degree in Business with a focus on Accounting and Information Systems.
