Deborah Rimmler

Deborah Rimmler has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Deborah is currently serving as the General Counsel at Sigma7 since August 2022. Prior to that, from July 2021 to July 2022, they held the position of Global Compliance Officer at Dentons. Before that, they served as Counsel at Dentons from January 2018 to July 2021. From 2005 to 2017, Deborah worked at Nexant, where they held the role of General Counsel, Secretary, and Advisor. Prior to that, they served as Assistant General Counsel at Nexant from 2002 to 2005. Deborah also worked at Nexant as a Consultant on USAID Southeastern Europe Programs from 2000 to 2001. Deborah's early career includes roles at the U.S. Trade and Development Agency, where they served as Business Development Director, Caspian Finance Center from 1998 to 2000, and as an Attorney-Advisor from 1994 to 1998.

Deborah Rimmler attended Boston College from 1985 to 1987, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and Government. Deborah then pursued their legal education at Southwestern Law School from 1990 to 1992, earning a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree. Later, from 1996 to 1999, they attended Georgetown University, where they completed their Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree in International and Comparative Law.
