Gustavo Alves

Gustavo Alves has extensive work experience in software engineering and development. Gustavo started their career as a Technician Assistant at Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte in 2010. From 2012 to 2014, they worked as a Freelancer, specializing in frontend development for various applications. In 2013, they joined Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte again as a Granted Student, where they developed web services using Java and Axis2. Gustavo also gained experience with Amazon EC2 and MySQL during this time. In 2014, they joined DATAPREV, the largest IT company under the Brazilian Ministry of Social Security, as a Frontend Developer. Gustavo was responsible for maintaining web applications, bug fixing, and developing new features. Gustavo later transitioned to working with the design UI/UX team to create themes and web components as the company's visual identity. In 2019, they joined Sign In Enterprise (formerly Traction Guest) as a Frontend Developer and then progressed to the role of Technical Team Lead in 2020. Currently, they hold the position of Software Engineering Manager since March 2022. Gustavo's expertise lies in frontend development, Java, Axis2, Java EE, JUnit, JSF, EJB, JPA, Hibernate, JBoss, MySQL, SVN, and Maven.

Gustavo Alves obtained their first qualification in the field of Information Technology from IFRN - Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Rio Grande do Norte. Gustavo completed a Technician degree from 2006 to 2009. Following that, they pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from 2009 to 2012 at Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte. Gustavo furthered their education by pursuing a Master of Science degree in Systems and Computing from 2013 to 2015, also at Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte.
