Jennifer Carrick FCAS, MAAA has over 30 years of work experience in the actuarial field. Jennifer is currently serving as the VP Head Actuary at Signal Mutual since April 2022. Before joining Signal Mutual, Jennifer held various roles at CopperPoint Insurance Companies, including SVP, Chief Risk Officer from December 2019 to March 2022, VP, Chief Actuary & Chief Risk Officer from January 2016 to December 2019, AVP, Chief Actuary from January 2013 to January 2016, and Director, Chief Actuary from June 2010 to January 2013. Prior to their tenure at CopperPoint Insurance Companies, they worked as a Consulting Actuary at Insurance Industry Consultants, LLC. from June 2006 to June 2010. Jennifer also gained experience as an Actuary at Bankers Insurance from November 2003 to April 2006, Assistant Actuary at ACE INA from September 2001 to October 2003, and Actuarial Analyst at Bankers Insurance and American Association of Insurance Services (AAIS) from 2000 to 2001 and 1999 to 2000, respectively. Jennifer began their actuarial career as an Actuarial Assistant at Hawkeye-Security Insurance Company, where they worked from June 1993 to June 1999.

Jennifer Carrick FCAS, MAAA earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Actuarial Science from Drake University, where they completed their studies from 1990 to 1993. Additionally, they have obtained the certifications FCAS from the Casualty Actuarial Society and MAAA from the American Academy of Actuaries, although the months and years of obtaining these certifications are undisclosed.
