Tory L. is a dedicated education professional with extensive experience in curriculum design, instruction, and equity coordination. Currently serving as the Belonging & Equity Coordinator at Signal Centers, Inc. since June 2022, Tory previously held various roles at Memphis Teacher Residency, including Interviewer/Evaluator for the STEM Committee and Curriculum Designer for the Marjorie Lee Browne STEM Camp. Tory's teaching experience spans several institutions, including the founding of the Science Department at Believe Memphis Academy Charter School and leadership positions at Shelby County Schools. With a strong foundation in engineering from Duke University and a Master of Education in Urban Education and Leadership from Union University, Tory also has a history of active involvement in diversity and community engagement initiatives within various organizations.
