Florian Brach

Florian Brach is a Data Scientist at SIGNAL IDUNA Gruppe since March 2021, with previous experience in machine learning and AI explainability during a master’s thesis at Technische Universität Hamburg. This project focused on image classification and vibration signal classification using CNNs and Explainable AI methods. Other professional experiences include internships at Eisenführ Speiser and Lufthansa Technik, engaging in patent research, production automation, and component analysis. Florian has also contributed to projects such as the development of an autonomous model vehicle and project management with a focus on industry 4.0 at the TUHH Career Center in collaboration with Lufthansa Technik. Florian holds a Master of Science in Theoretical Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Hamburg University of Technology.
