Clark Fritz has a diverse and extensive work experience in the mining industry. Clark is currently the Director of Mine Operations at Signal Peak Silica LLC. Prior to that, they worked as an Engineering Manager at Walnut Creek Mining Company, where they managed a team and assisted with transitioning from contract mining to self-performing operations. Clark also served as a Mining Manager at Source Energy Services, overseeing multiple proppant mines and being responsible for mine planning, efficiency, and reclamation. Clark gained experience as a Site Manager at Arcilla Mining and Land Co., LLC, managing a contract mining operation and ensuring production commitments were met. Earlier in their career, Clark worked at Luminant as a Senior Project Manager, Construction Manager/Senior Engineer, and Project Manager, overseeing mine expansion projects and contractor work. Clark also held roles at Kiewit Mining Group as an Engineering Manager, where they managed engineering teams, developed new business units, and trained new graduates. Clark started their career at Newmont Mining Corporation as a Production Supervisor and Construction Engineer, and then later worked as a Senior Mine Engineer at Phillips Coal Company.
Clark Fritz obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mining Engineering from Montana Technological University, where they studied from 1981 to 1985. Clark later pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree from the same university, studying from 1986 to 1988. In February 1997, they obtained a certification as a Professional Engineer from the State of Nevada.
