Ilya Stanevich

Ilya Stanevich has over 10 years of experience in the field of machine learning. From 2022 to present, they have been a Senior Machine Learning Scientist at Signal 1. From 2018 to present, they have been a Machine Learning Scientist at Layer 6 AI and TD. From 2012 to 2018, they were a Graduate Researcher at the University of Toronto and Central Aerological Observatory. From 2010 to 2012, they were a Graduate Researcher and Teaching Assistant at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (State University). From 2010 to 2012, they were an Undergraduate Researcher at the Russian Space Research Institute. In 2010, they were a Summer Intern/Business Process Analyst at Unilever.

Ilya Stanevich obtained their Bachelor's degree with distinction in Applied Physics and Mathematics from Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (State University) (MIPT) between 2007 and 2011. Ilya then went on to earn their Master's degree with distinction in Applied Physics and Mathematics from the same institution between 2011 and 2013. Ilya Stanevich completed their education by obtaining their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Physics from the University of Toronto between 2012 and 2018.
