Umayah Abdennabi

Umayah Abdennabi is an experienced engineer with a strong background in data and software development. Currently serving as an engineer at SignalFire since April 2024, Umayah previously held the position of founding engineer at neo.tax from October 2020 to April 2024. Prior experience includes engineering roles at Grammarly from May 2016 to October 2020 and Visa from June 2015 to May 2016, focusing on data-driven solutions and clearing and settlements respectively. Additionally, Umayah worked as a research fellow at the University of Minnesota in early 2015, researching mobility patterns, and completed an internship at Siemens from May 2013 to December 2014. Umayah earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Minnesota in 2015.
