Carol Shum

Carol Shum has extensive work experience in the field of statistical programming and data management. Carol most recently worked at Signant Health since 2021, first as a Senior Statistician and currently as a Delivery Lead. Prior to that, they worked at Bracket as a Statistical Programmer Analyst from 2019 to 2021. Carol also worked at Brown University as a Graduate Student Researcher from 2017 to 2019. Before that, they worked at Gilead Sciences as a SAS Programmer I from 2015 to 2017. Additionally, they had previous experience at Bracket as a SAS Programmer I and Resource Management Analyst from 2011 to 2015.

Carol Shum received a B.A.S degree in Economics and Statistics from the University of California, Davis in 2009. Carol then pursued further education, earning an ScM degree in Biostatistics from Brown University between 2017 and 2019. Currently, Carol is working towards a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Epidemiology at the University of California, Davis, with an expected completion date in 2023.
