Maria Kauranen

Maria Kauranen has extensive work experience in the field of HR. Maria currently serves as the HR Lead at Signant Health since 2023. From 2022 to 2023, they worked as the Head of HR Finland and Baltics at Siemens Healthineers, where they were responsible for HR in both Siemens Healthineers and Varian in Finland and Baltics. Prior to that, from 2018 to 2023, they held the role of Sr HRBP/HR Zone Lead for Nordics at Varian Medical Systems, a Siemens Healthineers company, where they supported leaders and provided solutions on various HR matters. Before that, they worked as a Senior Consultant at S&S Consulting from 2017 to 2018. Maria also has prior experience as an HR Manager at Ottobock Scandinavia Group from 2014 to 2017, an HR Manager at Huawei Technologies from 2012 to 2014, a Global HR & Internal Communications Manager at Orbis Systems Oy from 2011 to 2012, a Consultant and Project Manager at MPS Enterprises Ltd from 2007 to 2011, a Recruitment Consultant at Elan IT Resource Oy from 2006 to 2007, and an HR Coordinator at BearingPoint from 1998 to 2005.

Maria Kauranen has a Master of Science degree in Organizational Leadership from Hanken School of Economics. Maria also attended Gymnasiet Grankulla Samskola for high school. In addition, Maria has obtained an AON (former cute-e) Assessment certification from cut-e Finland in 2016 and an OPQ certificate from MPS Enterprises | MPS-Yhtiöt.
