Oliver Pötz

Oliver Pötz has a diverse work experience in the field of protein analytics and assay development. Oliver is the CEO of SIGNATOPE, a company offering novel mass spectrometry-based immunoassays. Additionally, they are a Co-Founder of Signatope GmbH, a spin-off company focusing on assay development and protein analytics. Prior to these roles, they worked at NMI where they were Head of the Protein Analytics Group from 2013 to 2017, and a Senior Scientist from 2001 to 2013. Oliver also spent time as a Guest Scientist at UVic Genome BC Proteomics Centre in 2010.

Oliver Pötz completed a PhD in Biochemistry at the University of Tübingen from 1995 to 2004. In 2002, they also took a course at EMBL Heidelberg in Germany, focusing on "Microarray Technologies: from Genome to Proteome." In 2007, Oliver attended the Executive School of Management, Technology and Law at the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland, but it is not specified if they obtained a degree from this institution.
