Jacob McIntosh

Jacob McIntosh is an accomplished Information Security Engineer II at Signature Aviation since May 2023, specializing in deploying and maintaining network security solutions including FortiGate Firewalls and Zscaler. Jacob has extensive experience with the United States Air Force, starting in July 2011, where roles have included Station Captain and Crew Chief/Lead Firefighter. Prior to Signature Aviation, Jacob worked at SkillStorm as a Network Security Engineer, where responsibilities involved building a high-availability environment in Microsoft Azure and creating zero-trust infrastructure. Additional experience includes firefighting roles with the City of Seminole Fire Rescue and the State of Connecticut, as well as work as a Correctional Officer and Personal Trainer. Jacob holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice/Homeland Security and an Associate's degree in Fire Science/Fire-fighting from Saint Leo University and the Community College of the Air Force, respectively.
