Tamara Jansen has extensive work experience in the banking industry. Tamara is currently employed as a Senior Vice-President-Lender at Signature Bank of Arkansas since February 2022. Before that, they worked at BancorpSouth as a First Vice-President from July 1999 to February 2022. Their responsibilities in this role included originating and underwriting commercial and consumer loans, maintaining the loan portfolio, and seeking new loan opportunities. Prior to that, they worked as a Mortgage Loan Officer at Simmons First Bank from July 1985 to June 1999. Tamara began their career at Citizens Bank, where they held various positions from July 1980 to June 1985.
Tamara Jansen completed a Secretarial Science Degree at Black River Technical College from 1977 to 1978. From 1990 to 1998, they obtained Certificates of Completion for Mortgage Lending from Housing Urban Development, specializing in HUD Basic I and II, Hud Intermediate I and II, Direct Endorsement, Closing and Shipping. Tamara also earned Certificates of Completion for Mortgage Lending from Fannie Mae between 1991 and 1995, focusing on Learning the Basics I and II, Self-Employed Borrower, Underwriting the Property, and Underwriting Flexibility. Tamara completed a Commercial Lending Certificate of Completion at the Arkansas Bankers Association Commercial Lending School in 2000. Tamara also finished a course in Networking at Leadership Jonesboro in 1992. Furthermore, Tamara completed a course at Dale Carnegie in 1990 and received a Certificate of Completion from the Veterans Administration for Basic Training in the same year. Lastly, they earned a Certificate of Completion in Consumer Lending from the Arkansas Bankers Association Consumer Lending School in 1989.
