In 2020 after finishing my level 3 NVQ in Health and Social Care, I worked in the care industry which is where I found my passion in providing the best care possible and making the older generation around me happy. I joined Hendon Hall in 2022 as an Activities Assistant which allowed to me to further develop my skills and also build relationships with our residents.
Having been promoted as the Activities Supervisor, I want to ensure that our residents have something to look forward to on a daily basis and because I feel that our resident’s well-being is of the upmost importance, having a person-centred approach is extremally vital.
I aim to create an atmosphere where family, friends and the wider community feel a part of Hendon Hall. Our team delivers activities throughout the day that everyone can take part in whether that is Tai-Chi, Baking Club or Drama Club, there will always be something for everyone.
