Cheyenne Myrie

Cheyenne Myrie has a diverse work experience in the arts and theatre industry. Cheyenne is currently working as the Director of Individual Giving & Special Events at the Signature Theatre Company. Prior to that, they served as the Executive Director of 6 Degrees Apart, LLC, where they provided general operating support to individual artists and companies and offered educational content about the arts administration industry. Cheyenne also worked as the Project Manager at Black Theatre Commons. Other notable positions include Director of Institutional Advancement at The Theater Offensive, Artistic Programming Assistant at New 42, Education Assistant at Girl Be Heard, and Gallatin Arts Graduate Assistant/ Festival Manager at New York University Gallatin School of Individualized Study. Cheyenne's experience also includes roles such as Sales Associate at DSW Inc., Production Assistant at the Bob Woodruff Foundation, and Production Manager at Mind-Builders Creative Arts Center.

Cheyenne Myrie holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), Magna Cum Laude, in Arts Management from Purchase College, SUNY. Additionally, Cheyenne has attained a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree, specializing in Black Theatre History and Narrative, from NYU Gallatin. In terms of additional certifications, Cheyenne possesses Adult, Child, and Baby First Aid/CPR/AED certification from the American Red Cross, earned in February 2023. Cheyenne has also completed the HIGH5 Strengths Test, being recognized as a Deliverer, Philomath, Catalyst, Time Keeper, and Storyteller, in February 2023. Further, Cheyenne holds a certification in Arts and Cultural Organization Management from the American Repertory Theater, acquired in May 2021. Lastly, Cheyenne has a certification in Bloodborne and Airborne Pathogens from Hippa Compliance Associates, obtained in August 2019.
