Karma Camp

Artistic Associate at Signature Theatre

Karma Camp is a seasoned theatre professional with extensive experience in directing and choreography, currently serving as a character movement specialist and coach for the Cafritz Young Artist Program at the Washington National Opera since August 2013. As an artistic associate at Signature Theatre since January 1989, Karma has directed and choreographed over 40 productions, including notable titles like "Miss Saigon," "Hello Dolly," and "Hairspray." Multiple nominations for the Helen Hayes Award highlight Karma's contributions to the field. Previous roles include creative consultant and director/choreographer at Busch Gardens Williamsburg, choreographer at Ford's Theatre, and work with PBS on productions featuring Michael Feinstein. An alumnus of Central Michigan University with a BFA in directing, Karma has also studied at George Washington University and George Mason University.
