Katherine Tucker is the Deputy Director of Marketing and Publications Director at Signature Theatre. Katherine has over fifteen years of experience in the field of marketing and communications.

Tucker began their career as a marketing manager at Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater in 2005. In this role, they were responsible for composing, qualifying, placing, and coordinating all print and online marketing efforts. Katherine also composed and designed all public e-mail communications, including Arena Stage’s bimonthly e-newsletter to 52,000 subscribers. In addition, Tucker managed the Communications departmental budget of over $1.65 million, supervised and mentored the Marketing Intern/Fellow, and developed marketing plans and strategies for single tickets, subscriptions, and other events. Katherine also executed all sales and marketing reports for Arena Stage staff and board, and negotiated vendor contracts and disputed payments.

In 2009, Tucker left Arena Stage to join Signature Theatre as their Deputy Director of Marketing and Publications Director. In this role, they oversee all marketing and communications initiatives for the theatre company. Under their leadership, Signature Theatre has seen a significant increase in ticket sales and brand awareness.

Katherine Tucker has a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre/Theater from William & Mary.
